President

(Executive Board, 2nd year of a 3-year term)

The Presidents are responsible for establishing the PTO goals and strategies and presiding over the PTO. They oversee the budget and finances, and ensure resources are properly allocated. Overall, they provide visionary and strategic leadership for the organization. 

President-Elect

(Executive Board, 1st year of a 3-year term)

The Presidents-Elect coordinate the committee chair volunteers for various PTO committees. They also may be called upon to assume temporarily the place of the Presidents in the event the Presidents cannot serve.

 

Past-President

(Executive Board, 3rd year of a 3-year term)

The Past Presidents' primary job is to advise the Presidents. They share knowledge and insight with the President and President-Elect including, but not limited to: timing, location of necessary items or documents, history of issues, and past board decisions.


Treasurer

(Executive Board, 2nd year of a 2-year term)

The Treasurer is the authorized custodian of all funds of Walnut Grove Elementary PTO. The Treasurer's duties include keeping records and preparing reports to comply with local, state and federal laws. 

Treasurer-Elect

(Executive Board, 1st year of a 2-year term)

The Treasurer-Elect assists the Treasurer with record-keeping and preparing reports and filings.  

 

Secretary

(Executive Board, 2-year term)
The Secretary keeps accurate records of the proceedings of the PTO and the business transacted at each PTO Board Meeting.

VP Media

(Standing Committee, 2-year term)
The Vice President of Media oversees all media of the PTO, including the weekly Grizzly Blast electronic newsletter, online and print promotions, social media, and other PTO communications.

 

VP Membership

(Standing Committee, 2nd year of a 2-year term)

The Vice President of Membership plans the annual membership campaign, manages the PTO website,  coordinates the PTO directory, and is responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining membership plans throughout the entire year.

VP Membership-Elect

(Standing Committee, 1st year of a 2-year term)

The Vice President of Membership-Elect assists the Vice President of Membership with membership planning and execution.

 

VP Fundraising

(Standing Committee, 2nd year of a 2-year term)

The Vice President of Fundraising oversees school fundraising events such as: the Growing Grizzlies Fundraising Drive, Grizzly Fest, and Spirit Nights.

 

VP Fundraising-Elect

(Standing Committee, 1st year of a 2-year term)

The Vice President of Fundraising-Elect assists the VP of Fundraising with school fundraising events thoughout the year.
