Become a PTO Member

The Walnut Grove Elementary PTO is dedicated to enriching the school experience for every student. We support school programs and events, partner with teachers and staff, and raise funds that provide additional educational opportunities and enhance our campus. As a board, we work together to create fun, community-building events while supporting the incredible faculty, staff, parents, and students who make WGES such a special place.

Joining the PTO is one of the best ways to stay connected and informed about everything happening at WGES. Your membership keeps you in the loop on school events, fundraisers, volunteer opportunities, and all the exciting ways we're working together to make a difference for our school.

The best part? Joining the PTO does not require you to volunteer. Whether you have plenty of time to give or none at all, your membership helps strengthen our school community. If you'd like to get involved, we'd love to have you! Throughout the year, we offer volunteer opportunities for every schedule—from helping for 30 minutes at an event to serving on a committee or assisting behind the scenes. Every contribution, big or small, helps make WGES an even better place for our students to learn, grow, and thrive.

Spirit Nights

Throughout the year, the Fundraising Committee arranges Spirit Nights with local businesses, organizations, and sports teams. These events are an easy, optional way to earn money for our school AND it's a great time to connect with friends outside of school.

Participating organizations pledge a percentage of their sales back to our school on the scheduled date. All you have to do is mention WGES at the time of purchase or purchase via a provided link in the case of event tickets! The more families that participate by either buying a ticket, enjoying a meal, or making a purchase, the more money we put back into WGES. And as a triple win, we continue to support local businesses in our community!

Spirit Wear

Show off your Grizzly pride with WGES Spirit Wear! We offer limited-release options twice a year through our print partner - Chomp Shop, as well as some in-person shopping at our back-to-school events.

Our online shop will be open Aug. 1-24 - orders will be fulfilled only after the shop closes. You can expect your items to come home with your child in mid-September - just in time for GrizzlyFest!

The online shop will reopen Oct. 19 - Nov. 3, with items going home after Thanksgiving Break. Look for information about upcoming sales in the Grizzlyblast newsletter!

We partner each year to bring you convenient, easy-to-purchase school supplies with EPI. No more stressing, no more shopping, just one click - that supports our school! Links for the upcoming school year are made available in May to purchase until mid-June, and the pre-ordered boxes arrive ready for your student on the first day of school!

1. Create an account & download the app at www.boxtops4education.com.

3. Earn Box Tops by:
   1. Scanning your paper receipts with the Box Tops app
