What is Growing Grizzlies?

Rather than ask families to participate in traditional fundraisers like candy sales and coupon books, our main annual fundraiser asks that you consider a monetary donation. Your donation will go toward approved school programs, tools, and supplies to help our Grizzlies grow!

To make this fundraising, well... fun, each year we give our Growing Grizzlies campaign a unique theme, complete with exciting rewards and school-wide goals to get our entire community involved. This year, we're heading on an adventure inspired by the breathtaking beauty of America's national parks—including the incredible landscapes right here in Tennessee! Our favorite Grizzly, Stanley, will be leading the expedition as we work together to reach our fundraising milestones!

What is all this going toward?

Approximately 80% of the school's operating budget is funded through PTO fundraising efforts, while the remaining 20% is provided by the district. When our school community comes together to give, we're investing in an exceptional educational experience for every Growing Grizzly. 

In the past, our giving campaigns have supported everything from covering mandatory supply fees for all students to replacing the original *vintage* cafeteria tables and enhancing the school Learning Center and other technologies.
